Education plays a pivotal role in the development of children across our community. By providing education grants and funding education initiatives, we aim to support local non-profits that are dedicated to helping students on their path to success.
Funding Local Non-Profits
Centered on our mission to advocate for students who are victims of discrimination, The Barnett Foundation, through the Barnett Grant, provides essential education grants to support local non-profits dedicated to funding education for under-represented minority groups in Tampa Bay.
Grant Tiers
Gold - $10,000-$28,000 (major non-profits and educational institutions that support local non-profits)
Silver - $5,000-$10,000 (small non-profits and families with serious legal needs, providing crucial education grants)
Bronze - $1,000-$5,000 (individual education grants and legal assistance)
*The Barnett Grant is a highly competitive program with a large number of applicants each quarter. Each tier grant is awarded per quarter on a rolling basis to help in funding education.
